  • Hello, I am Eun Ha Kim. I received my Ph.D. from the Educational Psychology and Educational Technology (EPET) program, Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education (CEPSE), College of Education at Michigan State University.

  • Before starting my Ph.D. studies, I worked as an associate project officer and research assistant at Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI), South Korea.

My research interests focus on three main strands:

  • Examining psychological (e.g., motivation, engagement), cognitive (e.g., self-regulated learning strategies, executive functions), and social-emotional (e.g., academic emotions, cooperative learning) factors that enhance students' academic success and literacy development

  • Developing educational interventions that incorporate multiple motivational forms into reading and writing instructions

  • Designing professional development materials that support teachers' instructional strategies to promote students' motivation and literacy development.
